Indie Folk Singer-Songwriter Sophia Anello has dropped her latest single, the whimsical Indie Folk track “When We Were Young”, featuring her younger brother Nico Anello. “When We Were Young is a nostalgic duet with my younger brother Nico,” explains Sophia, “With all that is going on in the world I think most people can relate to reminiscing about simpler times.”

Sophia Annello plays and writes pop/indie music as well as plays guitar, ukulele, and piano. Sophia has been writing music since the age of 13. All those years in the game have allowed Sophia to gain extensive touring experience and connect with fans at a young age. She has performed at countless venues around the US such as House of Blues, Eight11 place, The Rustic, The Lexus Legacy Box Garden, Bottled In Bond, Checkered Past Winery, the Cox Playhouse, the Frisco Railyard and many more.

Sophia’s incredible talent has landed her on NPR’s 20 under 20 list and high profile opportunities like a live TV performance on Fox 4. Her infectious track “Falling” took off like wildfire on TikTok and has accumulated over 60 million views on the platform. Now a student at Berklee School of Music, Sophia is working diligently to add a full length album to her burgeoning discography in 2021.

Nicolas Annello (more affectionately known as Nico) grew up watching his older sister Sophia Annello write, record and perform her own music at a young age. With a father who possesses a deep appreciation for the arts and a sister who was already developing a fanbase, Nico Annello never felt like making music was a dream he had to wait until later in life to accomplish. On one serendipitous day a booking agent stumbled on a video of Nico and Sophia covering “Like I’m Gonna Lose You”. The duo was instantly booked for a tour of The Rustic venues across Texas and thus Nico’s professional career was born. 
 It was soon after that Nico started building a hyper-engaged fanbase on Instagram and TikTok through a flurry of incredibly impressive cover videos and content collaborations with Tik Tok stars like Charli’ Damelio, Addison Rae & LilHuddy. Nico describes his inspirations as a fusion of the soul stirring vocals of Ruel/Lewis Capaldi with the pop sensibilities of Justin Bieber and Shawn Mendes. With his mounting social media attention, it wasn’t long before Nico was flying from Frisco, Texas to the musical hotbed of Atlanta to record his debut singles. At just 15 years old, his debut single “Forever” is resonating with fans in a major way and even spawned the #NicoForeverChallenge on TikTok that has been viewed over 20 million times. 
 Now 16, has followed up those releases with 3 well received singles and continues to develop as a songwriter and vocalist daily.
