Frankie Leonie

Award winning singer, songwriter and musician, Frankie Leonie is establishing herself as the newest rising star in the Americana Country/Folk music revolution. Frankie was born in the heart of the Texas music scene in Austin. Like many legends before her, she started singing in church, filled with music by age 3. You will be swept away by her enchanting soulful voice.

A 2017 award winner at the Old Settler’s Music Festival in Dripping Springs and a 2017 Nominee for Texas Country Music Association Award, Frankie has been making moves. While at Old Settler’s, she had the honor of sharing the stage with great performers like Nikki Lane and The Old 97’s. She was also nominated for a rising artist award with Texas Country Music Awards in 2017. Most recently Frankie’s first single was released in July of 2018, Johnny Cash, which was recorded with The Texas Gentlemen and produced by Beau Bedford.

You can catch Frankie at shows from her current home of Dallas to Nashville and Indiana where she opened for Ray Wiley Hubbard as part of the River Roots Music Series. She has enjoyed playing festivals such as the Old Settler’s Music Festival and the Wildflower Music Festival. She equally enjoys playing familiar spots in Dallas such as House of Blues, The Rustic, and Klyde Warren Park, as well as known Nashville spots like Belcourt Taps and The Listening Room Cafe.
