Erik started playing the guitar at age 10. He took lessons to learn chords, continued practicing and began to “feel the music grow in him.” He said, “I’ve had and have teachers in the music world who have made me become a much more understanding musician.” Erik plays acoustic and electric guitar, as well as piano. He started his musical commitment shy and reserved, but as he grew as a musician, he chose his band members and ventured out of his comfort zone to sing.
