Whether they are working alongside a Grammy-nominated producer in Los Angeles or writing songs with stories that resonate with listeners of all generations, the mother-daughter duo of Cliffs and Caves isn’t shy about using their music to tell deeply personal and relatable stories. Made up of Lindsey and Claire Justice, the duo offers up a unique blend of Indie, Folk, Americana, and Pop music inspired by their combined musical influences: Bonnie Raitt, Ben Howard, Fleetwood Mac, and the band Joseph.

Lindsey and Claire have recently launched their debut EP, entitled Hold On. The original songs appearing on the EP are a team effort with Lindsey creating the lyrics and melodies while Claire, a multi-instrumentalist, composed the music for the tracks. They traveled to Los Angeles to record their songs overseen by Grammy-nominated producer, engineer, and composer, Jamie Candiloro (Ryan Adams, R.E.M., Eagles). Also appearing on the EP is legendary Willie Nelson harmonica player, Mickey Raphael.

When they aren’t busy working on their music, both Lindsey and Claire love spending time with the rest of their family outdoors and in the water. It isn’t out of the ordinary to find them at the coast throwing cast nets and fishing, kayaking in the bay, riding four-wheelers or building campfires at the ranch, exploring hill country rivers, or hanging out with their horses, Sadie and Katie. Claire competes in several sports, including basketball, volleyball, and soccer and loves rock climbing and scuba diving. Lindsey has been married for nearly twenty years and is passionate about oil painting, charcoal drawing, songwriting, and managing her own interior design firm. She devotes her time to leading worship for Community Bible Study, where she also teaches music to children.
