About: Caroline Parker is a singer and songwriter from San Marcos, Texas. Caroline Parker grew up swimming and playing outside in central Texas, and found her calling in music rooted in the Americana movement. She writes from the point of view of women finding their strength, bringing a new perspective and elegance to her tales of women in a male-dominated world. She sources her inspiration from the earth and rivers and spends her summers singing in the canyons of the Idaho wilderness. With a soaring voice reminiscent of Janis Joplin and strongly influenced by her hero, Brandi Carlile, she combines a classic sound with the modern movement of the Americana genre. Years of experience performing solo and with her band, Southern Angels, means that Caroline brings experience and poise to every performance.
