Bio
Born in rural North Alabama outside of the city limits of a little Music Town called Muscle Shoals.

Muscle Shoals known for making career hit records for the likes of Aretha Franklin,Wilson Pickett and “When A Man Loves A Woman” by Percy Sledge also had it’s share of legendary “Country Star” residents that lived there as well like George Jones, Melba Montgomery and the Super-group Shenandoah just to name a few and now Shawn Lee is more than proud to follow and keep it real.

Shawn Lee began singing at an early age and later began playing clubs around his hometown at the age of 20. Rooted deep in the love of Texas Red Dirt Music, Shawn Lee has dedicated his life to making music that follows a tradition that is nearly obsolete in the mainstream Country Music format today. Influenced by the likes of Waylon Jennings, Hank Jr., Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, George Jones and singer songwriters like Kris Kristofferson and Billy Joe Shaver. Shawn Lee has lived the songs he’s written.

With a sound that borders between all of his heroes, Shawn Lee brings to the table his own style of Roots Music that brings back good memories to everyone who grew up listening when Country Music was at its very finest and you knew who was singing on the radio from the first line of the song.
