About Jacob Ryan Marshall:

Jacob is a guitarist, singer, songwriter who first picked up a guitar at 3 years old and has never put it down. Inspired by classic country and bluegrass music, Jacob started writing his own music and playing shows around the Houston area at 15. After attending sessions with Lloyd Maines and Terri Hendrix at the Kerrville Folk Festival, the sound of his music matured. At 16 Jacob performed a song he wrote at the Blue Bird Cafe in Nashville.

Jacob’s Texas Red Dirt music is a throw back sound of true country music . As a student at Texas A&M University, you can catch him playing any weekend somewhere between College Station and Houston. A few of his regular gigs include Truck Yard Houston, Old Town Spring, and Bayou City Arts Festivals. Jacob has had the opportunity to play venues such as The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Livestock Tent, The Rustic Houston, The Tap College Station, Texas Reds Festival College Station, Brazos County Rodeo, Pasadena Rodeo Cook Off, The Kenney Store and many other great places.
