About Jackie Castro:
Jackie Castro is a 24-year old Colombian-Americanalt-pop artist. In 2016, she made a successful debut into the music industry with her band Castro, a folk/pop trio consisting of her brothers Jason and Michael Castro. With the release of their EP ‘Diamond Dreams’ debuting at #1 on theSinger/Songwriter charts on iTunes and gaining over 9 million streams on Spotify, they made anational television appearance on The Wendy Williams Show and toured with acts such as AndyGrammer and Gavin DeGraw.

In 2018, it was time for her to part ways and find her own voice.  Leaving behind a deal with Curb Records, this Dallas native moved to Nashville where sheworked to develop her artistry within the pop community. In doing so, she discovered she had astory to tell. Her sound is a mix of whimsical melodies, lush vocals, a balance of synths and acoustic instruments, and honest songwriting. Jackie says, “I want people to be able to hear my whole heart in every song I write – from my deepest fears, insecurities, and regrets, to the moments of pure love, passion and acceptance. We’re all a kaleidoscope of colors, but I’ve foundthat music makes us realize how we’re truly more similar than we are different.”

Now, a completely independent artist, she’s taken control of her own path and launched her solo career with the August release of “You Want It, I Want It”. The independently released debut single has over 100k streams. Her second single “Romanticize” received its radio world premiere on Boston’s Mix 104.1 and was added to Spotify’s Fresh Finds & Fresh Finds: Poptronix playlists. Most recently her heart-wrenching single, “Hourglass” was premiered by American Songwriter Magazine and added to Pandora’s Mellow Pop playlist.

About Maggie Miles:
Miles exudes an authenticity which the modern generation is desperately craving. Originally from the Western Hills of Northern Virginia, she recently moved to Nashville to pursue music full time. Maggie grew up on the soulful vocals of vintage artists like Stevie Nicks and Ann Wilson, but has found 90s grunge to be a major source of inspiration as of late. She meshes all of her influences together with pounding, anthemic  instrumentals to create a sound that’s all her own.

In her music, Maggie addresses the conflicts of life through sharp-hitting lyrics textured in alternative rhythms with pop sensibilities that paint a compelling picture of our imperfect existence. The contrast of her jangly sounds and perceptive lyrics are a result of her commitment to connectivity through the honest expression of the human condition. She explains, “I make music for the utter reason alone that I need to create something for myself that makes sense, when nothing else around me does.”
