About Holly Tucker:

Holly Tucker, who has been called the Angel of Texas Country Music, is tenaciously proving that great things are worth the wait.

After winning the hearts of millions of television viewers in 2013 on Season 4 of NBC’s hit music reality show, The Voice, Holly is leaving her boot print all over Texas Country Music and with fans worldwide.

In 2013, she rose to the Top 6 out of 40,000 hopeful auditioners. Holly, on Team Blake Shelton, was one of only 7 contestants to receive an impressive “4-chair-turn”.

Her voice has been described by Coach Blake as “the most effortless, accurate, and powerful voice he’s ever heard”, and is currently Texas Country Music Association’s reigning Female Vocalist of the Year, two years running.

In 2017, she also earned awards from the ETX Music Office for:

Female Vocalist of the Year

Song of the Year & Video of the Year for her hit song, “You’re In Texas”

In 2018, Holly continued her reign as TCMA’s Female Vocalist of the Year, and was also awarded:

ETX Music Office’s 2018 Album of the Year for “Steel”

CMA of Texas “2018 Rising Star”

“I am so incredibly proud of the music my team and I created for Steel,” the Waco, Texas native says. “This album (Steel) is the product of three years of blood, sweat, and tears. I am humbled by the recognition and inspired by those who have supported me and this fantastic project”.

Steel, full of its award-winning singles, was Holly’s first full-length album release since The Voice. In late 2016, Holly launched the Steel Tour. Since her time on The Voice, Holly has played over 600 venues throughout Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Kansas, Louisiana, Tennessee, and California. With her focus on the Texas red-dirt country music scene, Holly released three singles from Steel to Texas Red Dirt Radio. All charted in the TRRR Top 100 chart, including:

“Wax Paper Cups” a duet with Ray Johnston of the Ray Johnston Band

“You’re in Texas”, which rose to #44

“Dallas On Your Boots” climbed to #30

Additionally, Holly released the official DOYB music video in mid-2017 and it was featured on the Country Rebel Facebook page and Great American Country (GAC). Throughout her Steel Tour in 2018, Holly both headlined and shared the stage with many well-loved and respected artists such as Shenandoah, Terri Clark, Tracy Byrd, Willie Nelson, Restless Heart, Linda Davis, Clint Black, Curtis Grimes, Sundance Head, Deryl Dodd, Sam Riggs, Deana Carter, Parker McCollum, Koe Wetzel, Hudson Moore, and others.

“2018 presented us with a lot of blessings, but also a lot of challenges. A few seemingly great opportunities fell through, doors closed, and the new music I was creating was delayed in its release for various reasons. However, in the coming year, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, and I very much look forward to revealing to my fans the next step in my musical journey!”

Holly plans to release Part One of a brand new independent album in the fall of 2019, and this time is a part of writing every song.

Holly’s musical roots run deep and wide, her musical story beginning even before she was born. Holly is the youngest of 3 children born to Johnny and Cheryl Tucker, founders of the 80’s Christian band, Revised Edition. Holly grew up singing in the church and performing on various stages and at fairs and festivals around Texas. From the ages of 14-18, Holly began her career as a recording artist. Her discography includes:

Her first full-length CD entitled “It’s About Time” (2007)

4-song EP entitled “For You” (2008)

A second full-length CD, “Love is What She Likes” (2010)

A 3-song EP entitled “Something to Be Said” (2011)

Her breakout, full-length independent album, “Steel” (2016)

Off-stage and outside of the studio, Holly has a huge heart for helping others and giving back. The country recording artist is engaged with several non-profit campaigns including: The American Heart Association, Meals on Wheels and Fuzzy Friends Waco. In 2017, after Hurricane Harvey swept through Texas leaving Houston and nearby coastal cities and towns in ruins, Holly launched her own “Martin Goes To Harvey” Campaign, collecting fellow country artists’ signatures on a beautiful, new Martin guitar, which she raffled, raising thousands of dollars for relief efforts. Holly also makes regular visits to area hospitals and speaking engagements and schools inspiring children with her music, strong values, genuine conversation, and musical journey.
