About:
The homegrown South Texas singer, and songwriter, Devin Michaels grew up in a small town called Refugio where you’re pretty much only known for is a 4.0 GPA or sports. Nonetheless, he took his own route.

Growing up as a kid he was surrounded by music. His late grandfather was a jack of all trades when it came to singing or playing musical instruments. Though his grandmother wished he’d become a Texas Tejano, accordion playing superstar. He decided to choose the sad songs and heart breaks path instead.
Growing up his father surrounded him with old country rock and roll and music such as Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, and earlier legends such as Dwight Yoakam and George Strait; It was till his aunt brought him into the world of rock and alternative rock with legends such as. Nirvana, Paramore, Sound Garden, and early Weezer that would Influence his love of music and sparked a great deal in his life.
He received his first ever guitar in 2017 one Christmas morning and began creating what brought him up, to life. He started writing music that very next summer dreaming of moving people with his lyrics on stage. Heavy influences on the sound from the alt-rock scene combining them with the lyrics of the pure country, “four chords and your heart” era making something some people wouldn’t understand, but what most would relate to.
Devin hit the studio in 2021 and went on to release his first single entitled “stick around” on May 13th of 2022. The single became something different for the average broken-hearted listener. He then went on to release his most recent single entitled “goodnight and goodbye” to all platforms for you to listen to and experience the way he “gets his points and feelings across” for yourself. He’s going to release an EP soon… Make sure to “Stick around” for it.
