About Mitchell Ferguson

The 25 year old Singer/Songwriter & Actor, based out of Dallas, TX, has been cutting his teeth on stages all over the United States for several years. He maintains a hefty touring schedule – 200+ shows over the course of 2017. Ferguson got his start as a songwriter serving as the front man for the Dallas based Psych-Rock band The Louisiana Purchase. After releasing several albums in that outfit, Ferguson took the dive into his solo career. In 2015, he released his debut solo album In Search of Certainty, recorded at Verge Music Works in Dallas, TX (Sixpence None The Richer). After several tours and various theatre gigs across the US, the road brought Ferguson to St. Louis, Missouri in early 2017, where he recorded his sophomore EP Basement Statements at Native Sound Recording (Pokey LaFarge, Aaron Lee Tasjan). Crate Diggers Dallas describes his sound as “…reminiscent of Robert Plant, mixed with a little Gary Clark Jr.”. Gas Monkey Garage said that “… Stevie Ray Vaughn returned from the grave!”

Ferguson on his newest EP, ‘Basement Statements’:

“Most of these songs were written while I was going through an extremely humbling transitional period in my life. I had just graduated from college and was living in my younger brother’s basement in St. Louis, trying to figure out who I was post-grad/post relationship/”real world”. I had a lot of high expectations and very close “almosts” one after another that left me feeling discouraged. Way down. In a basement, if you will. I also realized I didn’t have anything that was truly mine other than my clothes, my guitars, and my songs. So I dove in. These songs came out of that basement. It’s about falling in love, falling out, making decisions, and moving on.”

Small-town girl, Tiona Campbell, was born and raised in East Texas. She grew up listening to Amy Grant, Mariah Carey and all kinds of country music. She loved to sing and spent a lot of time singing in her room, her daddy’s pick up truck and church.

After she graduated High School, she immediately got married, had kids and put music to the side. About seventeen years later, now living in Houston, TX, she heard the Holy Spirit say ” Write a song. ” This lead her to two-time Grammy nominee Sarah Kelley’s music school in September 2015. She learned how to write songs, play piano, and record demos. Only one year later she released her first single “Irrevocable, ” which was featured on AVA Live radio. Prompted by the Holy Spirit to share her journey, she gained over 8,000 followers on Instagram within that year. Her EP “One of a Kind” was released on iTunes the following year, August 1,2017.

Tiona currently plays in Houston area venues, such as Dossey Doe, Red Brick Tavern, Huti’s and is a worship leader at her home church, Relate Community Church. She also performed her song “Jesus and Coffee” on Ealing Broadway in London, UK. Tiona has performed in front of :

From the Piney Woods of East Texas, Christopher Wright Music was borne out of strong conservative Christian values and a steady diet of Merle Haggard and Hank Williams, Jr.

By eleven Christopher was playing guitar and writing music. His art offered a much-needed distraction from his fractured family. In 1986, Christopher, his mother, and sister moved north of Dallas to McKinney, Texas. After some scuffles with the locals, they relocated to Allen, Texas where Christopher firmly planted his boots in the ground. Around this time urban hip-hop and Seattle grunge were shaping the musical landscape. Christopher’s love for the art of music was fire-roasted by the likes of Pearl Jam, Nirvana, and Dr. Dre. For Christopher, these artists complemented his respect for music of The Outlaws of Country Music.

High school and college were hastened by good times and trouble. Those days flew by like a Ford Mercury fresh off the line. Christopher was a bit of a hell-raiser in his younger days. Had a few run-ins with the law. “I got sidetracked with fast living, illegal shit, and shortcuts. Addiction made my straight lines into circles. Life was all fun and games until it wasn’t. I never shot anybody’s dog or anything, but I surely danced with the devil. After a few cold nights in county, I woke the hell up. Then it was the warm light of God”s word that guided me back to the light. In my desperation I found a deeper appreciation for everything I was losing.”

In 2016 Christopher was diagnosed with acute liver failure. “That shit brought me to my knees. “Christopher credits his faith to getting him sober. And music for saving his life.Christopher’s voice is deep, direct, and steady like a locomotive. His music will no doubt resonate with folks who are seeking light in the dark.

Kevin “Snit” Fitzpatrick: the former founding member of the Hollisters, Kevin “Snit” Fitzpatrick steps up front from the drums to become this bands lead singer and rhythm guitarist. Always a big fan of Chuck Berry “Snit” brings his life of the party persona to the stage when Snit’s Dog and Pony Show performs. Although this group has been a part time project for several years beginning in Atlanta in the late 80’s, Snit’s Dog and Pony show did not become a full time act until March 2001. “This is right where I want to be”, Snit says. “It might be about self indulgence but it feels good being a band leader and entertaining the folks” “I’ve got the line up set and we are ready to rock” says Snit. In his spare time Snit can be found watching his beloved Atlanta Braves and enjoying a German Pilsener Bier!

About: Shawn Pittman grew up with music all around him. His grandmother loved to play the boogie-woogie piano at family gatherings. Shawn’s mother must have seen something in him before he discovered what would be his life’s passion, his mother signed him up to take piano lessons at a young age. It wasn’t long until young Shawn was sneaking into his older brother’s room to play on his drum kit. By age fourteen, Shawn had a guitar in his hands. His discovery of Lightin Hopkins and Muddy Waters set the stage for Shawn’s musical journey.
He was born into his native roots of the Choctaw nation in Talihina, Oklahoma. Pittman later found his musical roots in Texas Blues when he moved to the state at the age of seventeen to attend the Booker T. Washington High School of the Performing Arts in Dallas. He expanded his music education courtesy of his uncle who would take him to local jams around town. This is how Shawn first met and learned from musicians like Hashbrown, Sam Myers, Mike Morgan, Jim Suhler, Tutu Jones, and many others.
Pittman recorded his first album in 1996. That album, Burnin’ Up, was released on Cannonball Records the following year. Throughout his career, Shawn has released 15 albums of original songs and a few covers featuring some of his favorite influences. As a songwriter and performer, Shawn is constantly composing and releasing new material.

We also perform original songs that I have written over the years, I love to write and create a story that people can relate to! About: Eric Demmer’s professional career began in the early 1980’s as a roadie for a Texas dancehall band. During that time, he became a sound engineer working for sound companies. In 1989, he was the sound engineer on Clint Black’s Killing Time tour. After he left the tour, Eric decided to devote his time to playing sax full-time.

Becoming a Sideman to the Stars
In 1993, he got the call to play with the legendary guitarist, Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown, and was a member of “Gate’s” band until his death in 2005. One of Eric’s career highlights while playing with “Gate” was performing on Eric Clapton’s, From the Cradle tour. Also, he was invited by Dicky Betts to perform with the Allman Brothers, and had the privilege of sharing the stage with many world-class artists such as, Johnny Clyde Copeland, B.B. King, Carlos Santana, Bonnie Raitt, Dr. John, Buddy Guy, Johnnie Johnson, Les Paul, Billy Gibbons, and many more. In 2016, Eric played shows with Mike Zito. In 2018, he played shows with the BB King Blues Band featuring Tito Jackson from the Jackson 5 and the Mike Zito Big Band.

Moving to the Center of the Stage
When Not touring with other artists, Eric performs with his own band. Eric describes his sound as “high-energy blues with a mix of funk and rock-n-roll. We combine a variety of musical styles and influences while reminding everyone that …the real thing comes from the heart and soul”. In November Eric released his Album “So Fine” on the Gulf Coast Records Label. Eric is currently on tour supporting the new Album.

Coffman is pacing on his front porch, taking a moment to explain the tension not just that he’s found, but that he needs. “I love these new songs because you can hear the hope in them, but you can feel the weight of the circumstances, too,” he says. “If you just get dark for the sake of dark, you forget you still have a pulse, and hey, your heart is still pumping for a reason.”

The new songs Coffman is referencing make up his latest album, Hard Times, a 10-track feat of triumphant, ragtop-down rock-and-roll. Anchored in Coffman’s natural storytelling and earthy voice, Hard Times is both a reintroduction and a return for an artist who’s pushed through starts and stops, but who’s never been anything but exactly who he is. “I’ve never needed someone’s permission to write,” Coffman says. “I’ve always just thought it’s what I should do.”

Steven Denmark grew up in the foothills of rural Northern California. For as long as he can remember, music was in the forefront of Steven’s life. Since he was 13 years old, Steven has been playing in bands, helping other artist create their music and touring the US and Australia. Six years ago, Steven made the decision to focus on writing the song she’s always wanted to. After many failed recording attempts, multiple songs thrown out or reworked, he finally had the songs he felt represented him as an artist. In March of2017, Steven ventured out to Nashville TN to record his first full length record which was released on November 24th 2017. In 2019 Steven Denmark was the backing band for Nikki Lane during Stagecoach Music Fest held in Indio, CA. That same year he also played Stagecoach. Since then and through and after2020, Steven has been writing, recording and producing the majority of his latest released work. Steven Denmark’s music can be best described as a mixture of Rock-A-Billy meets Texas Swing. This year in 2023, Steven has already toured the Pacific Northwest, Southwest and California Coastline. He will be pushing to the Midwest, Texas and Southeast later in 2023.

About Chris Lively

Native to Houston, TX, Lively began songwriting in the late 2000’s with a focus on lyricism and melody underpinned by euphonic chording and a blend of folk/blues/Americana-inspired rhythms and instrumentation. Following the release of his debut EP, the Faintest (2013), Lively amplified his presence in the Gulf Coast music scene with the release of two full-length compilations, Feather (2015) and Distance (2017). Replete with spacious vocals, layered guitars, and a diverse array of meditative picking styles, the albums chronicle the evolution of an artist maturing into his own truly distinctive sound.

As a whole, Lively’s work is a collection of soulful, twangy, and sometimes haunting stories that each contains a magnetism that leaves you wanting more.  The songs bespeak a songwriter unafraid of charting new terrain and interweaving a vast and ever-evolving range of influences in the process.
