About Jacob Armitage

“Jacob Armitage is a singer/songwriter from a place outside of Midland, TX known as Greenwood. Inspired by the likes of Charlie Robison, Cody Canada, Robert Earl Keen and Randy Rogers, Jacob grew up playing and writing songs. It wasn’t until moving to Lubbock, Texas, when he began performing his songs live. Jacob has released two singles ‘Runner’ and ‘Drift Away’. With his first release, Jacob remained on the the Texas Music Pickers chart for 12 weeks straight and has been played on multiple stations throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Kansas. With more music to be recorded, and shows booked across Texas, the future is bright for this young songwriter.” – Texas Internet Radio

ABOUT: After a decade of playing dusty dives and rowdy honky tonks as the bassist for the nationally acclaimed outlaw country garage rock outfit Ottoman Turks, Billy law is set to release his debut solo album. A far cry from Ottoman Turks’ raucous rock and roll sound, “Alone Somewhere” is a moody, introspective dive into what it is to grow up. Though a much more delicate piece of work than anything Turks has released, Alone Somewhere is still largely informed by rough and tumble experiences. Digging through themes such as guilt, anxiety, longing, and indifference, Alone Somewhere is a concept album that takes a full circle look at the process of growing up, chasing your purpose, and finding your place in the world all while following an erratic love story. About: Hey! I’m Caroline Grace, I was born in Elk City, Oklahoma, and grew up on a little land outside of town. Rodeos, bluegrass instruments and singing with my sisters filled most of my time. I started on fiddle and mandolin when I was young, and guitar later on. I’ve started writing songs in the past year or two, and I try to focus on traditional country writing and music with some bluegrass elements thrown in there as well. I love the old western vibe and I plan to write many songs that reflect the western cowboy/cowgirl lifestyle.

About: Originating from Lubbock Texas, Troublesome County is making their own path through the Texas Country genre. By blending multiple genres, including alternative rock, red dirt, and classic country, the band has spent the last couple of years creating a sound unique to them. They released their first EP in October of 2021, and have been seen playing all across west Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and North Texas since their recent relocation to the Fort Worth area, even playing legendary venues such as The Blue Light in Lubbock, The Destination in Midland, and Second Rodeo in historical Fort Worth Stockyards. They’re currently writing and recording their first album, which will bring their unique outside-the-box alternative country sound to light.

About Mountain Natives:

Mountain Natives is an indie-folk band from Dallas, TX. Overcoming cancer has given Philip Pappas and his wife Loren a new vision for life. His soon to be fiance pointed out a mole on his shoulder and asked him to go to the dermatologist. The mole was more than twice the size it needed to be to metastasize and spread malignant melanoma throughout his body. It was biopsied. And it was cancerous. He was then referred to an oncologist for surgery to find where the cancer had spread. After a rally of prayer from loved ones, a surprised doctor sent Philip home from surgery with a 5-inch scar on his shoulder.
The cancer was gone.

The music that was produced by Philip and Loren was not from a place of wallowing in the doubt of life or death. These “Essential” songs were born from a place of hope and gratitude. That hope is impressed on not just the ears but the heart of the listener. Hope for the miraculous. Philip and Loren want you to believe in the hope that the impossible is possible. Mountains of adversity can be thrown into the sea.

About The Powell Brothers

The Powell Brothers are Country/Americana recording artists from Houston, Texas.
THE POWELL BROTHERS is an American Country duo fronted by brothers Taylor Powell (lead vocals, guitar, bass) and Blake Powell (vocals, bass, guitar). With a unique blend of genres, thoughtful lyrics and superb musicianship, they have garnered and vast and diverse following. Releases include nine (9) singles, four (4) EPs and one (1) full length album.

The Powell Brothers kicked off 2021 by releasing “Twenty Twenty,” a five track EP featuring the hit radio single “How It’s Done.” Taylor, Blake, drummer Mike Bishop Smith and sound engineer Blake Sessions spent lots of time together working on new music during the coronavirus pandemic. The team hunkered down at “The Farm,” a barn converted into an audio/video studio on The Powell Brothers’ farm outside of Houston, Texas. After several weeks of collaborating, the band emerged from the barn with a new edgy, hard hitting sound with major attitude. The signature sound features powerful electric guitar riffs backed by a driving drum beat and gritty bass tones. The band immediately recorded five songs from The Powell Brothers’ catalogue of released material. The result was “Twenty Twenty,” a pulse pounding, addictive musical elixir blending elements of County and Rock in a unique way that is unmistakably The Powell Brothers
