About The Chris Kyle Foundation
The Chris Kyle Frog Foundation (CKFF) was founded by Taya Kyle to honor the life and legacy of service of her husband, “American Sniper” Chris Kyle. All too often, the family support network of those serving our country – either on the military frontline or as first responders – can be overlooked or forgotten. The pressures that are a natural outcome of this dangerous and stressful work can often result in damaged relationships that fracture the family unit creating additional stressors on those who serve as well as the family members that support that service.

The mission of the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation (CKFF) is to Honor God, Country, and Families Who Serve by providing experiences that strengthen military and first responder marriages and families. CKFF’s signature program started with the launch of CKFF Revitalization Retreats, which are focused directly on supporting military and first responder marriages. CKFF Revitalization Retreats provide service couples with experiences that provide new common ground, and then additional support resources designed to empower married couples with practical tools that improve communication and reduce conflict.

Chris Kyle – the author of New York Times Best Selling book – American Sniper – and his wife, Taya, knew all too well the issues encountered by military personnel and first responder families. Prior to his untimely passing in February 2013, Chris was working on his vision for the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation to provide experiences for service and first responder families to work through many of the difficulties he and Taya had experienced post-deployment.

Today, Taya and the CKFF Team are dedicated to fulfilling Chris’ vision of stronger, more empowered marriages and families. Creating this legacy serves as the continued inspiration to the CKFF Team, Supporters, and Volunteers.

The Chris Kyle Frog Foundation has been built on four solid pillars:

• Loyalty: Committed to God, Country, and Family • Empowerment: Empowering Families to Thrive
• Integrity: Honesty and Transparency in our Programs, Funding and Communications
• Excellence: Reflecting the service excellence that our constituents provide in service to their communities and country

Dedicated to achieving CKFF’s mission with a lean team and working with a streamlined budget focused on outcomes, CKFF has not invested in “brick and mortar” buildings to house a large staff. Instead, CKFF’s focus is on building programs that have deep impact and a foundation that lasts well into the future. So while you won’t see the most advanced gadgets, tools, or interactive web site design, you will see that as CKFF grows and matures we will continue to update our programming and communications to you, always with a strong focus on transparency and a commitment to our values.
